Friday afternoon KPAS

Glorious glorious sunshine!  This warm weather has sparked many conversations amongst our KPAS friends.  We heard birds chirping in the woods and several kids decided to call/chirp back to them.  We then talked about the birds migrating and flying south to stay warm and that soon they will have to head that way...they too are loving our warm days!
The resting group that enjoys further exploration in my classroom, while our other friends sleep in Lyndley's room, enjoyed a fun art project today.  We used liquid water colors in our spray bottles and made some wonderful pictures.  Several kids used a bit too much and had a big watery mess on the paper...their beautiful minds came up with the idea of putting another piece of paper on top to soak up the extra water colors...unexpected print making occurred!  One of my favorite parts of teaching this age group is the unexpected!
