Wednesday morning KPAS

We joined Lyndley's class today.  They have been intrigued by pancakes and so today we practiced making pancakes.  We discussed the ingredients, the process of mixing and cooking the pancakes and the final step of eating the pancakes.  For practice we had several choices related to pancake making.  The kitchen area was open with play dough to practice mixing and cooking and feeding our friends.  Next the water table was open with oobleck (corn starch and water) to practice scooping the batter and pouring it in the pan.  Finally the last choice was meeting in the message center to create your very own recipe.  We will join Lyndley's morning group again tomorrow where we will actually bake pancakes!  YUM!
