Wednesday Afternoon KPAS

We had some wonderful outside time again today...we are loving the warm weather but many of the children are beginning to wonder when we will have snow!!  During our playground exploration I noticed two separate groups of children gathering and organizing materials.  Bodhi, Isabel and Narumi gathered many of our sand tools and were placing them very neatly around the garden's edge.  Grady and Ryder collected several rocks and lined the deck railing in a very organized way.  After our resting time the downstairs group began bringing winter to our classroom.  We removed our KPAS Kind Tree from the fall and our apple trees and began making a wintery scene.  On Monday we painted a beautiful white scene and sprinkled it with glitter.  We cut this to create some snowy hillside.  Today some KPAS children began making and decorating snowmen.  Our next addition will be creating wintery pine trees.
