I apologize for the lack of updates last week...it was a busy week back after vacation. I will include some pictures here from last week. We have been busy exploring our classroom and some new updates that I have made. Lyndley shared a great shelving unit with me and I was able to expand upon our writing center which everyone has been enjoying. I was also able to change around our block area with a shelf that has no back on it...therefor they can reach through and build on either side expanding the building area and opening up the possibility to create with more materials. We have continued our color exploration and have been talking a lot about shapes. Yesterday we read the book Perfect Square and will use this book to inspire a new bulletin board...stay tuned! The playground has been icy after the weekends rain and night time cold temperatures...we are looking forward to some new snow cover to continue our sledding adventures! Just before snack time we had a visit from Lloyd who helped us create a new space to hang wet, winter clothing! The kids were so excited to watch him work, ask questions, count hooks and take turns using his driver!
